The Extreme Micro 15270 is a small CR2 sized, mule that uses the new Cree XPL LED. A mule is a unit without an optic which produces a very wide beam with no hot spot, it’s great for close up use and as an area light. They have three outputs with a memory mode, and are offered in a variety of metals. We left the front open for a unique view of the components and of course it has a glass lens for protection. The unit produces about 750+ lumens on the high setting with a smooth on/off twist head operation. The maximum power is produced from an IMR 15270. THE TOP POWER SETTING SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR SHORT PERIODS OF TIME BECAUSE OF THE SMALL HEAD AND HIGH POWER OUTPUT IT GENERATES LARGE AMOUNTS OF HEAT. The settings are as follows: High-100%: Medium-30%: Low-5%. The unit will step down to a lower setting when the battery needs to be recharged and has a memory mode. The flashlight has a length of about 1.8 inches and a diameter of 0.80 inches. Price does not include batteries or a charger, and must be purchased separately.
